Suburban Aquafarm™

Why the Suburban Aquafarm™ is a Game-Changer
  • Eliminates dependence on grocery stores – enables total household food sovereignty
  • Massive cost savings – Produces over 4,000 lbs of food annually, slashing grocery bills
  • Superior food quality – Grown under ENVIROCULTURE™ standards, delivering “better than organic” food
  • Eco-friendly and water-saving – Uses 98% less water than traditional farming
  • Compact and scalable – Fits in any backyard with options to expand and integrate other FST systems

Technology Differentiation

The Suburban Aquafarm™, Patent Pending, is unlike any other aquaponic system. Most are limited by flawed single-loop ammonia conversion designs. This system operates two independent fish and plant recycling systems, achieving a commercial stocking rate of 1 lb of fish per 2 gallons of water. Powered by BONANZA™ technology, it converts fish waste instantly into plant-ready fertilizer for the vegetable system. The entire system runs on minimal energy and offers virtually maintenance-free operation.

Food production includes:

  • NFT Pipes (150 holes): 200 lbs/month (~2,400 lbs/year)
  • Raised Beds (2x15 ft): 900 lbs/year
  • Microgreens & Mushrooms: 300 lbs/year
  • Fish (700-gallon tank): 400 lbs/year

Total Annual Food Output: ~4,000 lbs A clear polycarbonate dome insulates the entire system, eliminating the need for LED lighting and enabling year-round growing with geothermal climate control and a compact footprint.

Space Requirements & Feed Production

The 150 sq. ft. dome fits easily in most backyards.

Fish feed can be:

  • Grown on-site in a 2,000 sq. ft. plot or 700 sq. ft. greenhouse
  • Cultivated from moringa, comfrey, spirulina, and brine shrimp
  • Purchased from FST, which offers high-quality, fresh feed under the ENVIROCULTURE™ standard

Market Comparison:

  • Comparable System #1: $13,810 — 500-gallon tank, 100 lbs fish/year, 65 sq. ft. of vegetables
  • Comparable System #2: $16,969 — 4 x 100-gallon tanks, 460 lbs fish/year, 440 sq. ft. grow space Neither includes greenhouse dome or complete integration

FST’s Offering:

  • 700-gallon tank (400 lbs fish/year)
  • 3,600 lbs vegetables/year
  • Fully integrated system with geothermal control and polycarbonate greenhouse dome
