Meetings will primarily be held at THE GENERATOR - a maker's space in Sparks. Occasionally we'll partner with local organizations to host "field-trips" within the Reno area.
Our members backgrounds include engineers, scientists, horticulturists, greenhouse managers, rare fruit growers, and aquaculture specialists joined for the common interest to care for the planet, restore our resources and develop food systems for the betterment of humankind.
We are looking at the global picture for Aquaponics and Hydroponics, reducing the impact of food production, and taking a closer look at the concept of "Food Miles."
