SO-CAL AQUAPONICS

BEACH CITY AQUAPONICS SOCIETY

Setup as a MEETUP Aquaponics group as of January 2014 in Southern California

Meetings were held in founders experimental Aquaponics facility in Newport Beach California. Since the founders left the area a year later in January 2015, the MEETUP Aquaponics group has continue and grown to 200 members under the name LA/LB/OC Aquaponic Society under the capable direction of one of the initial members (David) and meet regularly in Long Beach, California.

Our members cover the full range of skill levels, from entry level to professional, but all share the passion of growing local, healthy, personally satisfying and sustainable food. Meetings for the LA/LB/OC Aquaponic Society are primarily be held at an urban farm in Long Beach, CA. However, occasionally they partner with local organizations to host "field-trips" within the Southern California area.

Check out the MEETUP GROUP SITE as it has a number photos of projects our members were involved in of which we are very proud.

JOIN US IN BUILDING THE COMMUNITY?

A small number of the group members retained the name BEACH CITIES AQUAPONICS and meet in different locations and occasionally via SKYPE in California and now have launched RENO AQUAPONICS in Nevada.

The group has formed a Joint Venture with FSC for a small scale Shrimp Farm. It is currently in its fundraising stage with plans to build a small urban farm. BEACH CITIES AQUAPONICS welcomes new members to be a part of the joint venture.
